Remedial massage is a clinical and systematic approach to treating musculoskeletal pain, injuries, and dysfunction. Sophie combines expert assessment with targeted therapy to not only relieve symptoms but address the underlying causes.


Initial Consultation
Your first session includes a comprehensive clinical assessment, which may involve:

  • Postural and movement analysis


  • Range-of-motion and orthopaedic testing


  • Discussion of symptoms, goals, and health history


  • Development of a tailored treatment plan

Following assessment, treatment may include deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, cupping, and assisted or resisted stretching. This session is ideal for new clients, persistent pain, or multiple areas of concern. 


Follow-Up Sessions 

 Follow-up sessions focus on reassessment, monitoring progress, and refining therapy. Each session begins with a brief reassessment to evaluate changes since your last visit and adjust treatment as needed. Techniques may include:

  • Deep tissue massage


  • Trigger point therapy


  • Myofascial release


  • Cupping and assisted stretching


These sessions are perfect for ongoing management of chronic pain, postural issues, or musculoskeletal discomfort. Sessions are available in 60, 90, or 120 minutes to suit your individual needs.

The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension while promoting overall circulation and wellbeing. 


Using long, flowing strokes, gentle kneading, circular movements, and rhythmic rocking, this therapy encourages blood flow to the heart and helps the body relax deeply.


Swedish massage is highly therapeutic, supporting your body in multiple ways:

  • Reduces muscle toxins and tension
     
  • Increases oxygen levels in the blood
     
  • Improves flexibility and range of motion
     
  • Enhances overall relaxation and wellbeing
     

Pressure is tailored to your preference, from light to moderate, making it ideal for relieving stress, easing muscular tightness, and restoring balance throughout the body. Available in 60, 90, or 120 minutes for a full-body, immersive experience.
